Why it matters
On a Park City custom home, the driveway is part of the project interface. Snowmelt paths, plow use, de-icer exposure, vehicle loads, access, adjacent construction, and maintenance expectations should be documented before the scope is priced.

Our process
Summit reviews observable drainage, existing damage, truck access, and scope interfaces. The written proposal should identify the approved design source, included preparation, finish, and unresolved site questions.
Excavation limits, unsuitable material, base type, lift thickness, compaction criteria, testing, and proof-roll responsibilities should come from the approved project requirements and be assigned in the proposal.
Summit sets forms and places specified reinforcing to the approved details. The owner or GC provides layout control and obtains required design and inspection review before placement.
The ready-mix producer supplies the approved mixture. Summit places and finishes to the project specification, while the testing agency performs any assigned sampling and tests.
Joint type, layout, timing, and curing method should be stated in the approved documents and proposal. Concrete can still crack; joints and reinforcing do not create a crack-free promise.
The proposal should assign form removal, cleanup, protection, access release, and maintenance information. Loading or use begins only after the responsible party authorizes it under the project requirements.
How to scope a Park City driveway
A generic thickness, reinforcing pattern, mixture, or joint-spacing rule cannot establish a Park City driveway design. The owner or GC, licensed design professional, authority having jurisdiction, ready-mix producer, testing agency, and concrete contractor each have different project responsibilities.
