The Deer Valley Build

Luxury Specs, Steep Lots, Short Season

Deer Valley lots can involve steep grade, limited access, ski-season constraints, HOA requirements, and architect-specified exposed or board-form finishes. Those controls should be identified before estimating and scheduling concrete.

Summit's proposed concrete scope can include footing, stem-wall, poured-wall, grade-beam, driveway, patio, and finish placement. The licensed design professional and approved project documents control structural, reinforcing, load, drainage, and joint requirements; the authority having jurisdiction controls inspection acceptance.

Founder Jurgen Becker is Summit's direct field contact for estimate requests and concrete-scope coordination.

Deer Valley Coordination

Define the Concrete Scope Before Placement

Park City Focus

Summit focuses its service area on Park City and Summit County. Each proposed date still depends on site readiness, approved documents, inspection release, weather, and ready-mix availability.

Altitude Pour Discipline

At high-elevation sites, the designer and approved specifications establish exposure and protection requirements, the producer supplies the approved mixture, the testing agency performs assigned tests, and Summit carries out its placement scope.

Architect-Ready Finishes

Board-form, exposed-aggregate, integrally colored, and stamped finishes can be included. Mock-up, sample, acceptance, and manufacturer requirements should be stated in the approved documents.

Deer Valley FAQ

Questions from Deer Valley Builders

Do you handle ski-in/ski-out lots with limited access?

Yes. Empire Pass, Silver Lake, and Stein Eriksen builds can have limited or seasonal access. Summit coordinates pump reach, truck staging, and construction-hour constraints with the owner or GC before a placement date is proposed.

Can you work around the Deer Valley ski calendar?

Winter placement is considered only after access, approved mixture, weather limits, protection, testing, inspection, and release responsibilities are documented by the responsible project parties.

Do you do radiant-heated driveways and entry slabs?

Yes, when included in approved project documents and coordinated with the radiant-system designer and installer. Those parties control loop design, pressure testing, and release; the licensed design professional controls slab and reinforcing details; Summit carries out the assigned concrete placement.

Who is the field contact for Deer Valley work?
